Grants Energy operates the Grants Precision ISR Project, located on private land about 20 miles from the community of Grants, New Mexico. Grants Energy is committed to respecting the water, air, land and people and is evaluating the potential to extract uranium at the Grants Precision ISR Project utilizing the proven, environmentally friendly, in-situ recovery ("ISR") technology.

Developed in the United States 50 years ago, ISR is now used to extract approximately 60% of all the uranium in the world. ISR utilizes wellfield technology, removing the uranium in liquid form, without the use of conventional open pit or underground mining, tailings or waste piles. The Grants Precision ISR Project has the potential to create 200 jobs while providing the necessary fuel for clean and affordable domestic nuclear energy.

In-Situ Recovery

Grants Energy soley utilizes In-Situ Recovery ("ISR") technology to recovery uranium from the ground. In-Situ Recovery (ISR) is a proven, safe, and eco-friendly method of uranium extraction that returns the groundwater and land back to its original purpose and use once finished. ISR has been safely used around the world for over 50 years with minimal environmental impact.
